ChickWays offers cost-effective and timely clearing and forwarding services both for sea and air shipments in Mombasa and Nairobi. We provide a full range of customs clearing and international freight forwarding services. Our international freight forwarding services are supported through membership of the Uganda Clearing and Forwarders Association (UCIFA), and through independent forwarding logistics companies from all continents.
We have adopted business processes and systems that interphase with third-party systems notably the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Customs and clearance procedure. We, therefore, encourage our team to maintain daily contact with the various Government Departments, with the relevant authorities for the completion of customs clearance processes in the shortest time possible time. We offer our customers modern, spacious and secure warehousing options in Kampala, Busia, and Mombasa, which meet their unique needs. Our facilities include storage of cargo in air-conditioned rooms as in general, transit and bonded warehouses.
Chickways boasts of a vehicle fleet of about (number of vehicles and specifications where possible). Our fleet meets high international safety standards and our drivers are guided by our policy (Refer to Human Resource Manual). Chickways’ drivers have undergone training in defensive driving making us amongst the top transport safety team in Uganda.
All our trucks are fitted with GPRS tracking systems which enable tracking of cargo whenever it is in transit from one point to another. We encourage our drivers to observe high road safety standards contributing to incident and accident-free, efficient and timely transportation of cargo.
